Experience Adventure in Kyrgyzstan!
With majestic mountain ranges, rolling grasslands and pristine alpine lakes, Kyrgyzstan aspires to be the adventure-travel destination of Central Asia. This captivating country combines a traditional nomadic culture of horses and yurts with a post-Soviet way of thinking and living. This is a critical time in the nation's history: people are seeking stability, peace and economic development.
The people of Kyrgyzstan are warm and hospitable; they welcome opportunities to interact with Westerners and understand the importance of learning English in order to improve their international standing. TeachOverseas volunteers serve in both language center and university settings in the beautiful capital city of Bishkek. We invite you to join our team!

Director's Notes
A note from the Regional Director: During my first stay in Bishkek I was struck by the diversity in Kyrgyzstan's capital city. I sat in a classroom of students from various Central Asian countries; I visited a local ex-pat haunt and heard various languages and accents. Bishkek is a beautiful city that affords a breathtaking view of the mountains and is teeming with life. Come teach university students in a Central Asia nation that is experiencing great growth and change!
